Gathering Equipment

Identify the modem configuration you are working with and gather the required power, communications, and test equipment.

Required Equipment

Along with the hardware and software that comprise M-Series, the following equipment is required for this getting started procedure:

Required Item	Purpose
LIC-77WH-00, 25.5 V lithium-ion battery charger	Powers/charges internal-battery enclosed variants during bench testing.
Ethernet cable	Provides wired network connectivity when using Ethernet.
PC with the selected serial, USB, or Ethernet interface	Hosts terminal, telnet, and support tools.
Inline cable adapter and Popoto PDI board	Provides the PC interface for M-Series modem bring-up.
