Using pshell

You can use pshell to connect to the Popoto modems, enter chat mode, and exchange test data through the acoustic channel.

Procedure Summary​

After performing the steps in Basic Setup, open a pshell session to begin using the modem and perform getting started procedures.

  1. Connect to the Popoto modem over the selected host connection using pshell.
  2. Transmit a test message command.
  3. Getting and Setting Variables
  4. Send a range command.
  5. Record a waveform.
