Gathering Equipment

Identify the modem configuration you are working with and gather the required power, communications, and test equipment.

Required Equipment

Along with the hardware and software that comprise C-Series, the following equipment is required for this getting started procedure:

Required Item	Purpose
C1500LI: LIC-77WH-00, 25.5 V lithium-ion battery charger C1500RP/C3500RP: 12-38 V, 5 A DC power source	Powers the selected C-Series modem during bench testing.
Ethernet cable	Provides wired network connectivity when using Ethernet.
PC with the selected serial, USB, or Ethernet interface	Hosts terminal, telnet, and support tools.
C1500LI: inline cable adapter and Popoto PDI board C1500RP/C3500RP: Power & Communication Interface inline cable	Provides the PC interface for C-Series modem bring-up.
