Using the Popoto Web UI

The Popoto Web UI is a user-friendly, browser-based user interface that provides all the core functionality of the modem, including messaging, ranging, signal monitoring, recording, and a spectrogram.

The Web UI is available when the modem is connected via Ethernet.

This guide shows how to connect to two modems, transmit a test message, monitor the acoustic signal, and make and view a recording.

After performing the steps in Basic Setup, open the Popoto web interface to begin using the modem and continue getting started procedures.

1. Connect to the Popoto web interface over the selected host connection.
2. Transmit a test message command.
3. Send a range command.
4. Monitor the acoustic signal.
5. Record modem audio.
6. View the waveform recording.
